Zina is a Solicitor in our Family Team specialising in Public and Private Law Proceedings. Zina qualified as a Solicitor in 2012 and has been practising Family Law ever since, working in Bristol and the Southwest area before joining Battrick Clark.

Zina represents parents, carers and other family members in Public Law Proceedings, including Pre Proceedings, Care Proceedings and Discharge Proceedings. She has represented parties in complex cases including non-accidental injury, sexual abuse, learning disabilities and Deprivation of Liberty Order Applications.  Zina also represents parties in respect of Special Guardianship applications in Private and Public Law Proceedings.

Zina also has a keen interests in Private Law Proceedings and represents parents in respect of Section 8 Orders including Child Arrangements Orders (Contact and residence Orders), Prohibited Steps Orders and Specific Issue Orders, including relocation, change of School. She also works alongside domestic violence services assisting and advising victims of domestic violence in respect of children matters and obtaining Injunctive relief.

Zina is passionate about the work that she does. She is empathic whilst having the ability to offer clear, comprehensive advice. She strives to do the best for her clients by obtaining a satisfactory resolution to whatever legal difficulty they may be facing, whilst remaining realistic and fair about their prospects of success.
